Coordinated release of large bundled product, WIND RIVER Platform for Network Equipment, version 1.0. Prepared a release plan, wrote CM plan, conducted interdepartmental meetings, prepared and revised MS Project schedules, coordinated with multiple development groups to create a seamless product from disparate components and software packages.
Participated in releases of WIND RIVER Platform for Network Engineering 2.0 and WIND RIVER Platform for Consumer Devices.
Integrated third party code into the in-house product line, for use in product integration, development, and testing.
Automated source builds of Network products in conjunction with other Wind River products.

Selected and installed SCM system for project using Perforce. Created build scripts in Perl that updated the code view, ran the compile, parsed the output and mailed various people depending on the outcome. Created scripts that generated web pages, including a calendar pointing to daily output logs, nightly listings of documentation, and statuses of various tasks.
Automated a cross platform web traffic tracking system using Webtrends. Had also automated the same task using Analog, a shareware system.

Oversaw various processes involved in turning code into released product. The release model involved rolling files from the codeline to live web servers, which served as search engines and web content providers. The files were a mixture of content, a proprietary web search database, and a test auction system, similar to eBay's. This position involved the use of ClearCase, Perl, UNIX, GNU Makefiles.

Provided codeline support and ClearCase administration for Sybase's Replication Server department. Utilized Clearcase codeline administration toolkit to maintain approximately 25,000 files, in several separate projects. Performed upgrade and tuning on Clearcase environment. Maintained monitoring tools on the internal departmental web using CGI, shell scripts.

Maintained and wrote shell scripts and makefiles to run automated build processes, license key generation utilities for customer support, and performed other tasks as needed. Other duties included supervising UNIX system administrators, answering customer support phone calls, creating custom images of beta products, repairing hardware, and diagnosing network problems.
