I adopted Ozzy from Oakland Animal Services on July 21, 2006. I met him at an adoption fair that was held at the Oakland SPCA. I was not in the market for a rabbit. I was there, volunteering to walk dogs and clean up after cats. There were a lot of splendid animals at the fair. I met Ozzie and a few other rabbits. Ozzie struck me as a very friendly animal. He let me hold him and was really into people. Velocity never was, poor guy. I did not have a good impression of pet bunnies from Velocity. Ozzie was dropped off with a few other guys at the night drop. He was, presumably, in someone's home and then spent a few weeks in the shelter before I got him. So, he's used to people and let's me carry him and feed him treats from the get-go.
As you can see, the fact that the enormous Mister Zero was raised with a rabbit made the introduction very uncomplicated.
